Our initial aquaponic endeavor is situated within our residential abode in Delhi, nestled on an 800-yard expanse within the verdant locale of Sainik Farms, Delhi.

A charming three-story old styled red brick villa with sandstone roofs forms the centerpiece of this landscape, enveloped by lush gardens on every side.

We commenced our aquaponic journey ten years ago, however the past five years have witnessed a remarkable metamorphosis of the entire premises into a thriving aquaponic oasis growing organic vegetables, herbs, fruits and fresh water fish for our family.

We get an income from our home by the sale of extra produce of vegetables to our neighborhood

Moreover, the entrance verandah has been ingeniously repurposed into a greenhouse haven for 500 vegetable plants.

Walk up the stairs to first floor terrace growing 1000 plants of vegetables, in media beds, watered by aquaponic water from the fish tanks on the ground floor

Walk up a gentle flight of stairs in the house to the second floor where an Agrovoltaic Solar panels system powers the house and the aquaponics and grows 2000 plants of vegetables and fruits, in media beds watered by aquaponic water from the fish tanks on the ground floor

Saunter through to a greenhouse section 12 ft wide 14 ft long and 8 ft high growing 5000 plants of lettuce, spinach, green onions, microgreens climate controlled with a dual inverter airconditioner

The once conventional back lawn and garden now stand re-imagined as a bustling greenhouse, home to two fish tanks and sprawling beds of vegetables nurturing an abundance of 5000 vegetables, alongside the flourishing carp within the tanks.

Transitioning towards the verandah's far corner, a tranquil Japanese Garden greets visitors, hosting twin pools growing 50 kg of carp, their nourishing waters cascading to sustain the verdant expanse at the entrance to our home.

An innovative air purification mechanism stationed at the entrance of the verandah employs a panel 8 ft high and 6 ft wide, having natural wood shavings with water tricking over them. An exhaust fan pulls in the polluted Delhi Air from outside, which is purified , cleaned and cooled by the filter panel and circulates through the greenhouse and out through our home. the natural filtration system gives us air quality to WHO standards with Pm2.5=5 and Pm10=10, day and night all year round.

When outside temperatures are upto 45 Deg C, the air through the greenhouse and our home is a comfortable 25 Deg C , no air conditioning is needed in our home and the greenhouses around it, we breathe clean mountain air further oxygenated by the 15,000 plants of vegetables and fruit growing in our greenhouses around our home and on its rooftops
