Our initial aquaponic endeavor is situated within our residential abode in Delhi, nestled on an 800-yard expanse within the verdant locale of Sainik Farms, Delhi. Our family home is a charming three-story old styled red brick villa with sandstone roofs forming the centerpiece of this landscape, enveloped by lush gardens on every side.

We commenced our aquaponic journey ten years ago, however the past five years have witnessed a remarkable metamorphosis of the entire premises into a thriving aquaponic oasis growing organic fish, vegetables, herbs and fruit for our family. We also get an income from our home by the sale of extra produce of vegetables to our customers in South Delhi

Stop cities becoming garbage dumps

Only recyclable waste leaves our home, We compost our kitchen waste to produce nutrient rich vermi compost. We collect the leaves fallen from trees on the road outside our home and mix it with garden waste and make leaf mold compost using red worms.

We produce 30 bags of vermi compost and leaf mold every year, using it to grow our food, which would cost Rs.30,000, if we were to buy it .

We compost our kitchen waste and Garden waste using beneficial bacteria and Red Worms, this vermicompost is filled into pots which are used in our aquaponic system to grow 15,000 plants of vegetables and fruits,

Agrivoltaic Solar panel systems power our home, and power the  greenhouses around our home

A specially designed Agrivoltaic solar system on the second floor roof top is set up to allow light to come through and grow the plants. So we are not dependent on the grid for power and save on electricity bills for our home and greenhouses

Water is a scarce resource We Harvest Rain Water to grow our food and Recharge Underground Aquifiers
