An aquaponic greenhouse in our daughters home in Lucknow

The greenhouse in our daughters home is in a corner of her garden. It has a fish tank growing 120 kg fish a year and media beds growing 2000 plants of vegetables, salads and greens for the home

The aquaponic greenhouse set up by Peter Singh in the garden of his daughter's home in Lucknow

Here the fish tank is dug into the ground, and the soil from the fish tank is banked up in 2 ft wide paths , and in between the paths , the media beds are 3 ft wide and 20 ft long, with gravel as the media, lined with pondliner. The water from the fish tank flows through the gravel media beds, providing nutrition to the plants , and then flows back to the fish tanks
