Aquaponic Aquarium Models
If you are short of space, set up an aquarium model of Aquaponics in your home . If you don’t eat fish, you can keep Koi Carp an ornamental fish in it which are a beautiful and a serene sight to look at, the fish waste feeds the vegetable plants in the system . We use our aquarium model to grow out new fingerlings, which are shifted to our main tanks after they have become about 6 inches long, and then the aquarium is restocked The Aquarium models also grow essential greens for your kitchen , the smallest module growing 150 plants of greens for your table

This model has a 3 ft by 2 ft and 2 ft high aquarium, in which we are growing out fingerlings of seabass. The water from the aquarium circulates to media bed trays which contain a total of 250 plants in pots with vermicompost
There are plants of mint, basil, celery, zuccini on the top trays , then lettuce, celery, spinach in the other trays, and there is space for a tray for seedlings at the bottom left, to grow seedlings that replace plants as they are harvested, providing a continuous supply of vegetables for your table. This unit is 2 ft wide, 6 ft long and 6 ft high.The plants are lit by artificial grow lights, so the unit can be placed in a verandah, entrance to the home and can also be located inside a room or basement in the home.
